Position Description: Junior Account Executive or account executive for E. Boineau & Company, core team
Responsibilities
Serve as team member of successful "virtual" marketing communications and public relations firm to support team and client activities such as media database research, compilation and distribution; writing press releases, Web content and other media background info as needed; media pitching, managing details of community relations activities, such as speaking engagements and special events; updating company Web site; performing some administrative duties, and keeping detailed time records. Individual is basically a freelancer who works from their home as a part-time, possibly full-time member of a busy team with high-profile clients, under mid-level and senior supervision.
Qualifications/knowledge/skills desired
Strong communications skills, organizational skills, good writing skills, ability to juggle assignments, computer proficient in Word and Excel. Confident in interacting with others, professional and polished due to nature of clients the agency handles. Should be a quick study to grasp both the agency business and the client's business. Special events planning experience a plus. Understanding of finances and recordkeeping helpful too. Disciplined self starter will excel in this post.

Candidate should have his/her own home office set-up: computer with high speed internet connection, email, voice mail, phone, fax. Actual work hours vary depending on client activity; candidate should be flexible to adjust work schedule as necessary and be generally available during typical business hours, though agency hours are traditionally longer than some. Compensation is based upon actual hours billed.
