CHARLESTON, SC – December 14, 2012 – Clore Law Group, a Charleston-based catastrophic personal injury and business law firm, has added Susana Fernandez Herrero as a paralegal. In this role, she also assists attorneys and Hispanic clients by providing Spanish interpretation and translation services.
She holds extensive experience as a paralegal in litigation, labor, environmental, international trade, intellectual property, and telecommunications law, having previously spent over 10 years at the firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP, in Washington, D.C. During her time there, she also assisted with translation and interpretation of Spanish language documents and contributed to the pro bono program by assisting Hispanic clients. Prior to that, she worked as an environmental paralegal and translator for Beveridge & Diamond, also located in Washington, D.C.
Fernandez Herrero holds a law degree from the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain, where she also completed a labor law post graduate course. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in human resources from the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain, and a master’s degree in international law (LLM) from the American University Washington College of Law. She is registered as a non practicing attorney with the Colegio de Abogados de Madrid.
