BERCHTOLD builds bikes and paints the town to bring smiles to children in need
What: BERCHTOLD Corporation will sponsor and host two charitable events benefiting the local Charleston community during the week of the company’s national sales and service meeting: Build-A-Bike and “PaintFest” for the Foundation for Hospital Art activities.
When and Where:
- Build-A-Bike will take place on Monday, January 27, from 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm at the Charleston Harbor and Resort Marina, Patriots Point, Lookout Pavilion.
- “PaintFest” for the Foundation for Hospital Art will be held on Thursday, January 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at BERCHTOLD Corporation’s Charleston Headquarters, located at 1950 Hanahan Road, North Charleston, S.C. 29406.
Details:
- During the Build-A-Bike activity, BERCHTOLD employees will build 18 bikes to donate to children at the Cannon Street YMCA in downtown Charleston. A presentation ceremony will be held around 3:45 p.m. following the assembly of the bicycles. Children and YMCA staff will be on hand to accept the gifts from BERCHTOLD officials.
- The “PaintFest” for Foundation for Hospital Art event includes BERCHTOLD employees painting large canvases and creating artwork that will be donated to a children’s hospital in the Southeast.
