Acclaimed comedian Chris Rock visited Charleston’s International African American Museum on Oct. 2, getting back to his roots not only as a native of Andrews, South Carolina, but as one who seeks to learn.
“It is always exciting to welcome people back home and share their excitement about learning how the African American journey has truly shaped America and how that journey is still connected to the world today,” said Tonya Matthews, president and CEO of IAAM.
