7-Eleven, Inc., sets celebration for grand opening of newly franchised Kernersville store
Kernersville, N.C. – The 7-Eleven® store at 1005 S. Main Street in Kernersville, N.C., is changing hands, and 7-Eleven, Inc., is inviting the community to come sip, slurp, snack, and see what the new store has to offer. The grand opening celebration is planned for Wednesday, September 20, the day the store officially opens to the public. The fun and festivities begin at 10:00 a.m., with a ribbon-cutting, followed by a fresh food sampling that includes everything from pizza to wings to new chicken dippers, along with free fresh-brewed coffee and Big Gulp® drinks.
Neighborhood 7-Eleven stores are typically franchised by local entrepreneurs, who are members of the community where they operate their stores. The open house gives franchisee Reginald Noble an opportunity to meet and greet his new neighbors and customers. Noble is a 20-year retired Navy veteran who has been with 7-Eleven for 12 years as a store manager. He has been a Winston Salem resident for the last five years.
Brian Mulcahy, franchise sales representative, said, “Reginald has a formidable history with 7-Eleven. It is exciting to see him taking over this store, and we are confident that he will thrive here.”
Visitors will be invited to sign up for 7Rewards, the 7-Eleven customer loyalty platform that rewards customers with a free beverage for every six cups purchased. 7Rewards counts every 7-Eleven beverage – hot or cold, from small to large – served in a 7-Eleven cup toward the seventh free. To participate, customers must use the 7-Eleven’s mobile app, available in the iTunes App Store or Google Play, and register as a member.
