7-Eleven sets celebration for new ownership of Rock Hill store
Community invited to changeover event
Rock Hill, S.C. — 7-Eleven, Inc., invites residents to sip, slurp, snack, and see what the new 7-Eleven® store at 1001 Oakland Avenue in Rock Hill has to offer. A grand-opening celebration is set for Friday, June 29, which also marks the day the store officially opens to the public. The festivities begin at 11 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting, followed by a fresh food sampling that includes everything from pizza to wings, along with free fresh-brewed coffee and Big Gulp® drinks.
Neighborhood 7-Eleven stores are typically franchised by local entrepreneurs who are members of the community where they operate their stores. The open house gives franchisee John Conway an opportunity to meet and greet his new neighbors and customers. Conway is an eight-year veteran who served as a supply specialist with the U.S. Army Reserve and as a financial management specialist for the U.S. Air Force. Conway also holds over 22 years of experience in the retail industry, most recently having held a co-manager position at a Wal-Mart in Sumter, S.C.
