CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Inside the International African American Museum is the Center For Family History.
It is where visitors to the museum can hear and see the stories of the Lowcountry across generations or begin their journey to discover their roots.
Director Brian Sheffey is adept at tracing roots and helping others uncover their family history.
The former commercial marketing and advertising executive got into genealogy while searching for a birthday gift for his father.
