Chamber and City of Mt Pleasant set to celebrate Diamonds Direct’s first SC store
Diamonds Direct opens in Mt. Pleasant
Company to celebrate opening with chamber and city officials February 10
Mt. Pleasant, S.C. – Diamonds Direct, a direct diamond importer based in Charlotte, N.C., is now open in its new location in Mt. Pleasant. This is the company’s seventh store opening and its first in South Carolina.
Located at 1911 Hwy. 17 N., next to the Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre, Diamonds Direct features a 6,500-square-foot showroom filled with top-quality jewelry and a large selection of mounted and loose diamonds, varying in size, carat weight, shape and certification. General Manager Ayelet Gilady will oversee the day to day operations and manage a staff of eight. Store hours are Monday – Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on February 10, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the company’s new location in Charleston. The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, the City of Mt Pleasant, and Mt Pleasant Business and Professional Association officials are expected to attend. Diamonds Direct invites the public to join in the celebration. Sweet and savory bites from Hamby’s Catering will be served, along with a coffee and tea bar.
