Commercial Property Executive: Frampton Adds Director to Charlotte Office
Frampton Construction Co. has appointed Chris Knight as director of the firm’s Charlotte, N.C., office. Knight assumes the role that was previously held by Keaton Green, who recently relocated to the company’s Charleston, S.C., office.
In this new role, Knight will be responsible for project acquisition, operations and delivery. Frampton Construction is a regional full-service construction firm that provides planning and design support, preconstruction, construction and sustainability services throughout the Carolinas.
Industry veteran
Prior to joining Frampton, Knight spent eight years with Lendlease, where he served as general manager and operations director. He focused on the origination and delivery of fully integrated large-scale communities, hospitality and utility-scale renewable energy projects. Knight acquired extensive industry experience working with Actus Lend Lease, where he was a senior division manager for a privatized military homebuilder in Colorado Springs, Colo. As a construction manager, Knight’s responsibilities included maintaining, procuring and executing high-level design-build contracts with the Department of the Navy, NAVFAC and Naval Facilities Consultants.
Knight is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in management and society. Originally from Greensboro, N.C., he currently resides in Charlotte, N.C.
