CRBJBizWire: Frampton Construction underway on manufacturing facility for Curtiss-Wright
Charleston, S.C. – Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, is underway on an industrial facility for Curtiss-Wright, a product designer, manufacturer and service provider for the U.S. Navy. The project, developed by The Keith Corporation, is located within the Charleston Trade Center in Summerville, S.C.
The 144,376-square foot building will be constructed of pre-cast concrete panels and structural steel with a deep foundation design and ceilings with a 40’ clear height, tall enough to house overhead cranes and other specialty equipment.

Manufacturing operations comprise 107,000-square feet of the building. Open office areas, conference rooms, and a cafeteria occupy the remaining 37,000-square feet. A boiler/steam plant, which will be used by Curtiss-Wright to test products within the facility, will be operational by 2020.
