Frampton Construction completes ninth project for Southeastern Freight Lines
Charleston, S.C. – Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, has wrapped up work on an expansion and renovation project for Southeastern Freight Lines in Fredericksburg, Va.
The 32,991-square foot service center sits on 14.5 acres off Jefferson Davis Highway, adjacent to Interstate 95. The project more than doubled the size of the existing facility and involved a 40-door dock expansion, a 4,268-square foot warehouse addition, and a complete remodel of the existing 4,203-square foot office. Frampton Construction also re-painted the entire facility, provided new landscaping, and resurfaced the front employee parking lot. The service center now houses a total of 77 dock doors, positioning it to better serve the company’s fleet along Virginia’s busy Interstate 95 corridor.

Frampton Construction partnered with Robert Johnson Architects and Civil Engineer Hoyt + Berenyi to complete this project. Construction began in September 2017.
