The senior-care facility market is booming across Greater Charleston to handle the influx of retirees and aging baby boomers.
The latest center near Summerville will add 100 units to more than 1,200 already coming to the region in seven other developments.
The Blake at Carnes Crossroads in Berkeley County will feature one- and two-bedroom assisted-living options and studio and one-bedroom units for Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
