Post and Courier: Local contractor to build Chef’Store in Charleston
Frampton Construction is raising a sprawling wholesale food, equipment and supply center in downtown Charleston for a national distributor to restaurants and related outlets.
The operation will be a US Foods CHEF’STORE, the fifth in the country. Frampton Construction had built two previous CHEF’STORE outlets, in Tempe, Arizona, and in Oklahoma City. Others are in Columbia and in Charlotte.
The contractor launched work last month on the Charleston store and is expected to be finished by June 2018.
