A Charleston-based contractor will oversee construction of a new senior-living facility near Rock Hill.
Frampton Construction Co. is building The Blake at Baxter Village, an 88,000-square-foot development in Fort Mill. It will include assisted living and memory care apartments as well as two-bedroom independent living cottages.
It’s the fourth facility in South Carolina for Blake Management Group of Mississippi and its partner Capital Ventures Inc. Another, The Blake at Edgewater, opened in January less than 10 miles away in Indian Land. The new facility broke ground Wednesday and is slated to open in May 2019.
The company recently opened a similar facility in Goose Creek called The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. It has another facility in Elgin near Columbia called The Blake at Woodcreek Farms.
