Winston Salem Journal: The Briefcase: 7-Eleven closes Clemmons, Lewisville stores
7-Eleven closes 2 Forsyth stores
7-Eleven closed two of its four Forsyth County stores during the Memorial Day weekend: the stores at 2375 Lewisville Clemmons Road in Clemmons and 5076 Styers Ferry Road in Lewisville.
Both stores had their 7-Eleven signage removed, window shades pulled down and closed signs posted on their doors. The Clemmons store recently had switched to newer gas pumps.
Stores at 1005 S. Main St. in Kernersville and 5916 University Parkway in Winston-Salem will remain open as will the store at 713 S. Main St. in King.
7-Eleven officials said there are no current plans to reopen the closed stores.
The company said in a separate news release Tuesday it would conduct a series of franchisee seminars in Charlotte in which the University Parkway and King stores are listed as available to franchise.
