Frampton Construction builds team as construction projects grow
Frampton Construction grows team with two new hires
Charleston, S.C. – Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional
full-service construction firm providing planning and design support,
preconstruction, construction services, and sustainability services
throughout the Carolinas, has added two to the construction team. Ryan Giles
joins Frampton Construction as a superintendent in the Charlotte office, and
Alan Burgreen has been named as a project manager and will be based in the
Charleston office.
In his role as superintendent, Giles will oversee scheduling, monitor
project budgets, manage staff and sub-contractors, and help to maintain a
top rated safety program. Prior to joining Frampton Construction, Giles, who
has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, served as a
traveling superintendent with Dooley Mack Constructors of S.C., LLC. While
there, he oversaw the construction of multiple retail shopping centers and
accelerated scheduled projects for a major retailer. Prior to that, he
supervised and managed a number of industrial, commercial, and residential
projects. Notably, he received the Safest Superintendent Award while
superintendent of Bridgecreek Elementary, a $19 million dollar elementary
school in Elgin, S.C.
Burgreen, as project manager in the Charleston office, will manage all
aspects of the company’s commercial construction projects, including
schedules, budgets, and team members, and he will provide stakeholders with
project updates and forecast future performance. Burgreen previously served
as vice president of Liberty Construction, located in Charleston, S.C., and
prior to that as project manager for Dooley Mack Constructors of S.C., LLC.
Burgreen earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina,
where he double majored in finance, and insurance and risk management. In
2008 he received the Palmetto Architecture Construction and Engineering
(PACE) Award for Construction, which honors the best construction project in
the Lowcountry by recognizing the team responsible. Liberty Construction
also received a Roaring 20s Company award from the Charleston Regional
Business Journal while Burgreen was at the company.
