Charlotte, N.C. – Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a regional full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, construction services, and sustainability services throughout the Carolinas, has added Tom Sumner as field superintendent, based in the Charlotte office.
Sumner, who brings over 25 years of experience to Frampton Construction, previously served as senior construction superintendent at Marous Brothers Construction in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that, he worked as senior construction manager at Duracon Construction in Baltimore, Maryland. Throughout his career, he has led over 29 projects, all of which were completed within budget and on time. Most recently, he worked on a $40 million, 800-bed student housing project in Binghamton, New York. Sumner earned an associate’s degree in forestry from Ohio University and is OSHA 510 certified. He is a native of Poland, Ohio. Sumner will reside in the Greenville S.C. area.
