Frampton Construction ranks high on “Best Places to Work in S.C.”
Charleston, S.C. — Frampton Construction Company, LLC, a full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction, and construction services, has been named by the S.C. Chamber of Commerce as one of the “Best Places to Work in South Carolina” for the second year in the running. The company ranked 4th on this year’s list of medium-sized companies with between 50 and 249 employees, up from a rating of 14th in 2020.
Created by the S.C. Chamber of Commerce in partnership with SC Biz News and Best Companies Group, this annual survey-and-awards program, now in its 16th year, was designed to identify, recognize, and honor employers in the state of South Carolina who do their best to create a work culture that benefits the employees and the entire state’s economy, workforce, and businesses.
An in-person awards ceremony was held on August 5, 2021, at the Columbia Convention Center to honor those companies who made the list. The rankings will be published in the August 2021 issue of SCBIZ magazine.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
