A year after breaking ground, Charleston-based Frampton Construction Co., LLC, in December completed a 112-room extended-stay inn not far from the Gulf Coast.
Marriott TownePlace Suites is a 65,000-square foot, four-level hotel in Lakeland, Fla., east of Tampa and within 30 minutes of major resort attractions in Orlando, the contractor says. The fourth-generation Towneplace Suites design for Marriott is one of the first “Gen4” hotels to be constructed, according to Frampton Construction. The building features a “totally redesigned exterior façade, spacious suites with full-size kitchens, in-room workstations, and closets designed by The Container Store,” it says.
