Lexington cable manufacturer Prysmian Group has launched a recruitment program to fill roles in the company’s centers throughout the world.
The “Make It” campaign is aimed at engineers and technical staff with manufacturing experience. The company, which operates 11 North American plants serving the telecom and energy markets, is seeking process, maintenance, design and quality engineers, as well as other technical specialists. An engineering degree or equivalent is required, as are three to five years of similar work experience.
“The ‘Make It’ program embodies the pronounced emphasis that Prysmian places on development of its people,” said Christina Trainor, vice president of human resources and organization. “We have a personal passion for people and manufacturing alike, and we are incredibly excited to launch a program that cultivates training, growth and stability.
The training program involves the Prysmian Group Academy, which focuses on further development essential skills for the career of selected candidates. It includes two weeks of training in the Milan headquarters and two weeks in the manufacturing academy in Turkey.
