Diamonds Direct, a direct diamond importer based in Charlotte, N.C., will turn up the heat this summer with a preview of what’s new in jewelry fashion, and a 20% discount too, at its Mt. Pleasant showroom on August 19 and August 20. The tropical chic themed event will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, with cocktails and snacks by Top Shelf Catering, hand spun cotton candy from Pure Fluff, and a performance by Pantasia Steel Band topping things off on Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The two-day trunk show, which is open to the public, will feature an expanded collection of jewelry by top jewelry designers, including A. Jaffe, Atara, Christian Bauer, Henri Daussi, Kirk Kara, and PeJay Creations, among others. Designers will be on site to showcase their classic designs and premier the latest styles fresh from the international jewelry show, held in Las Vegas late spring. Shoppers will be offered 20% off a large selection of exclusive inventory during the show.
