The Post and Courier: Roots of Liberty Hill, founded by freed slaves, to be focus of family tree workshops

NORTH CHARLESTON — To help document and preserve the history of the oldest community in the city, the Liberty Hill Historical and Genealogical Society is hosting a family tree workshop to guide beginners through the process of tracing their ancestry.
