Call Experts recognized as one of America’s fastest growing companies
Call Experts makes Roaring Twenties list and for the sixth time appears on the Inc. 5000 list
Charleston, S.C. – Call Experts, a family owned and operated call center focused on providing extensive telecommunications and office-based services to professionals in numerous industry segments, has been named one of the 40 fastest-growing companies in South Carolina for 2017 by SC Biz News. They were also named to Inc. Magazine’s annual Inc. 5000 for the sixth year in a row, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest growing private companies.
Call Experts ranked 2695 on the Inc. 5000 list. The company is one of only 60 businesses in South Carolina to receive this honor and the only one in the state to make the list for a sixth year. According to Inc. 5000, Call Experts has seen 139% growth over the past three years. The list offers a look at the most successful companies within the U.S. economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent small and mid-sized businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, Linked In, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.

The 2017 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2013 to 2016. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2013. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent as of December 31, 2016. The minimum revenue required for 2013 is $100,000; the minimum for 2016 is $2 million. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at http://www.inc.com/inc5000.
In addition to being named an Inc. 5000 honoree, Call Experts has also been named to the statewide Roaring Twenties list, small company division, presented annually by SC Biz News. This honor recognizes the state’s best-performing companies based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue from 2015-2016.
To qualify for the Roaring Twenties designation, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization (except for government entities and charitable organizations, including 501(c)3 organizations).
Company size was determined by gross revenue: A small company was considered as having $10 million and under in revenue. Small companies must have had revenues of at least $500,000 each year for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Profiles of the winning companies will be published in the winter issue of SCBIZ magazine. The winners will be honored at an event on Oct. 19 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Columbia.
