Carolina Orthopaedics celebrates new Carolina Forest clinic with ribbon cutting ceremony
Carolina Orthopaedics opens new clinic in Carolina Forest
What: Carolina Orthopaedics, based in Murrells Inlet, S.C., and providing comprehensive orthopaedic services and care to the Grand Strand community, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception to celebrate the opening of its new clinic in Carolina Forest.
When: Thursday, July 14
Time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the ribbon cutting scheduled to take place at 5:15 p.m.
Where: 185 Fresh Drive, Suite B, in the Carolina Forest area of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Details: Dr. Michael Bohan will speak on behalf of Carolina Orthopaedics, and Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, along with Shannon Furtick, will preside on behalf of the Chamber. Other city and chamber officials, including several chamber ambassadors, are expected to attend. The physicians at Carolina Orthopaedics, and Lance Owens and Jeremy Skoog, two representatives from ATI Physical Therapy, will participate in the ribbon cutting.
A number of Horry and Georgetown County School District students who are enrolled in Carolina Orthopaedics’ medical mentoring program will also be attending. Kathi Johnson, head of the Pre-Medicine Department at the Academy of Arts, Science and Technology, in Myrtle Beach, will represent the school as Carolina Orthopaedics donates a treatment table from their clinic to the school. The table will be moved to the Academy of Arts, Science and Technology when school resumes in the fall, on August 17.
