Geoffrey L. Wendt joins the Law Offices of Robertson Wendt as associate
Charleston, S.C. — The Law Offices of Robertson Wendt, a North Charleston based firm specializing in legal issues related to Social Security and other disability benefits, has added Geoffrey L. Wendt as an associate attorney.
Wendt holds an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Admiralty from Tulane University Law School and a law degree from the Charleston School of Law. Before joining the Law Offices of Robertson Wendt, Wendt gained experience in the practice of maritime personal injury law as a summer associate at Nalley & Dew, APLC, in Metairie, Louisiana. Prior to that, he worked as a research assistant for Professor Robert Force, director emeritus of the Tulane Maritime Law Center.
While at the Charleston School of Law, Wendt served as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Robertson Wendt and as a legal extern at the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Maritime Law Association of the United States. He is also a graduate of Clemson University and holds a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in legal studies.
