Talbots hosts charity shopping event to benefit Mother Emanuel Hope Fund
What: Talbots, a leading retailer and direct marketer of women’s classic apparel, shoes, and accessories, will host a charity shopping event, with a portion of pre-tax sales going to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund.
When: Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: The Talbots retail store located at 261 King Street in downtown Charleston.
Details: Talbots will open their doors to customers to shop with a 25% shopping discount on all in-store purchases. Ten percent of pre-tax sales will be donated to the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund, with a minimum of $5,000 being donated. Customers will also have the opportunity to enter the “Two for the Road Sweepstakes” at www.talbots.com to win a dream trip for two, a $1,000 Talbots shopping spree, and a $2,000 gift card from Hartmann luggage.
Of note: A check for the Mother Emanuel Hope Fund will be presented at 6:45 p.m.
