The Joggle Factory sets holiday prices
Encourages support of Small Business Saturday
Charleston, S.C. – The Joggle Factory, a locally owned and operated company that creates timeless, sustainable joggling boards, is offering discounted prices across the board in time for holiday gift-giving and to support the 10th annual Small Business Saturday, which will be observed on November 30, 2019.
Small Business Saturday was created in 2010 by American Express to support small businesses and communities on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Since its start in 2010, consumers have spent an estimated combined total of $103 billion across all Small Business Saturdays. When The Joggle Factory was founded, also in 2010, it was a holiday that owners Kristi and Chris Outland, could especially get behind. “We encourage our customers to spend time with their families on Black Friday, rather than buying from big box stores. We suggest they honor Small Business Saturday to support locally made goods and small bricks and mortar businesses in the U.S. and especially around the Lowcountry of South Carolina,” noted Kristi Outland.

Founded in March of 2010, The Joggle Factory is a family owned and operated business that designs and builds authentic and classically styled joggling boards to create a timeless and traditional look for a patio, garden, porch, or any number or living areas. Each joggling board is custom built using sustainable, locally harvested lumber that travels less than fifty miles to the place where it’s then handcrafted. All lumber is harvested from the same Lowcountry soil of the first joggling boards, which originated in the 1800s. Today, The Joggle Factory’s boards can be found in South Carolina at the Summerville Visitor Center, the Charleston Visitor Center, the Renaissance Hotel in Charleston S.C., the Scout Southern Market in Beaufort, S.C., and Kiawah Beach Club, among many other notable establishments. Nationally, their boards reside at the Peter & Paul Hotel in New Orleans, La., The Siren Hotel in Detroit, Mich., and the Ritz-Carlton, Reynolds, Lake Oconee, Ga., among others.
