Sally Dixon

Sally is originally from Iowa, though she moved to Florida in her teens and later married and moved all over the state for job transfers, working on her college degree all the while. She later got an associate degree in business at Tallahassee Junior College in Tallahassee. The road finally brought her here in 1981, where she enrolled at the College of Charleston. Sally started her company, The Balancing Act, in 1983, incorporating it in 1988. She ran the business full-time for 22 years but now is part-time. Sally is an enrolled agent in the world of taxes and is also licensed with the State of South Carolina as an accounting practitioner. She has been working with Elizabeth and the E. Boineau & Company team since soon after their founding in 1990, preparing monthly invoices and billing and keeping track of client budgets and contracts. Sally is a fifth-generation organist and has served as director of music/organist and choirmaster at St John’s Parish Church on Johns Island for the past 28 years. She has a beautiful and devoted pup named Queenie, who turns 15 in September 2020.
